Cheers to the New Year.

I don't have a Christmas post, but I will say it was wonderful. The best part about it was knowing we will have a little one to share it with next year. Words truly cannot explain my excitement!

I know I'm a little late on the whole "New Year" thing as we are eleven days into it, but I wanted to go ahead and post. This year has quite the exciting lineup for our family: Becoming new parents to baby Jaxen Tyler in early April and tieing the knot in mid September. This year is going to be quite the busy one while adapting to a new routine as parents and in the midst of planning a wedding. No stress here so Bring. It. On.

Did you make any resolutions this year? I'm the one to be so excited about making them, but never ever stick to them. I want to change that this year! I only have a few so how hard can it be? Right?

Well, there they are. In the open for the world to see. Now let's see how well I can do this!

Looking back on the year.

The holidays are literately right around tomorrow and like most of you, we will be traveling from family's house to family's house. When I was growing up, Christmas was just spent as one whole family at my grandparents house with everyone. It then grew into two Christmas' because of my parents divorce. Now that Tyler is in my life, it has grown into three! It seems hectic trying to plan times and where exactly we're going. But taking a step back and looking from a distance, it's quite amazing to be a part of such a big thing.

This year has had it's ups and it's downs just like every other year. I celebrated my 21st birthday, became pregnant with our first child, and got engaged to the most wonderful person in the world. I was completely blessed this year and couldn't ask for anything more. But I'm looking forward to 2012 more than ever - welcoming our baby boy, Jaxen Tyler Thomas, into this world in early April. I cannot wait to watch him grow and learn. Holidays spent with him here will become extra special, that light green room will be looked at with more awws, and learning how to become the best parent possible. Not to mention, we are getting married in September! I have a whole wedding to plan along with raising a baby! I couldn't be more excited. And thankful.

Love.
