18 weeks, 22 to go!

um, hello!
i am so stoked. i am 18 weeks preggers today. according to my weekly bump emails, baby thomas is as big as a sweet potato. i haven't started feeling any movements yet, but it's soon to come and i am so so so excited. :) two weeks until our ultrasound and the big announcement will occur on thanksgiving day to our family and friends.

last saturday i went to my best friend from high school, kelsi, baby shower. it was here local so mom came with me. she is so adorably pregnant and i got to see a few other old friends that was preggo too! we all talked about experiences, due dates, names, etc. i'm the only one left to find out the gender. kelsi and another one of my friends are having girls and the other is having a boy that is due any single day now.

oh and about the names? we have a few picked out, but nothing is set in stone. unless we have a girl, then we're pretty sure we have the middle name picked. we want something different, but not insane. you know? like them parents that spell their kids names with so many y's and z's to make it look somewhat cool? poor kids. they'll never learn how to spell their name. lol.

so an article i just read cracked me up. it was off thebump.com and boy was it strange. it was weird pregnancy cravings. i've had a few cravings, but i don't think they're weird. i've been craving chocolate like a crazy person, chunky salsa that i make, penguin ed's m&m cookies, sausage, and i've noticed i've ate a ton of pancakes recently. the cravings are things i just don't eat too often. oh and i almost forgot - vegetables. my grandparents grow a delicious garden and vegetables is considered their main course for meals these days. it's good old fashioned cooking and the day i had lunch with them my plate consisted of tomatoes, fried green tomatoes, fried zuchini, cucumbers, onions, cooked pears, and cornbread. it was fabuloooous.

toodle-looo.
